Welcome to our new website! The Adoptive Families Association of BC is now the Belonging Network. |
The support from our donors and funders makes our work possible. Every gift has a positive impact on the families, children, and youth we serve. Thank you for making a difference!
Our annual Impact Report allows us to share an organizational overview of the previous year, highlight our programs and services, and demonstrate the impact made on the lives of children, youth, and adoptive families. We thank our funders and donors who continue to support the work we do, our Board and volunteers who generously donate their time, our staff who bring the organization to life, and our wonderful adoption and permanency community. If you would like to receive a hard copy of our current Impact Report, please contact us at info@belongingnetwork.com or 604-320-7330 ext 100.
Download 2023-24 report“AFABC [now the Belonging Network] has been a great support. It ended up giving us an amazing opportunity to meet a fellow queer adoptive mama, and she and her kids have become family.”
Read their story“AFABC [now the Belonging Network] provides a wealth of information through articles, training, and webinars. They also have Facebook support groups where you can share, vent, and ask advice from other adoptive parents on a variety of topics. AFABC seems like a very special place to work. They are like a family.”
Read their storyWhen Nathaniel was 6 years old, the McKinney family was reunited through a family adoption with the assistance of one of our permanency support specialists. (Nathaniel is Erin's second cousin, and Erin's cousin Brad plays the role of "Uncle Dad" to Nathaniel, who is now 14.) The McKinneys aim to encourage more Indigenous families to consider adoption, especially when there are family members in care.
