This self-paced course is for anyone wanting to learn about adoption and permanency in BC, especially those interested in adopting from government care. It covers the basics of the process, legal and financial considerations, and the needs of the waiting children. This course is a prerequisite for those planning to register for the Learning for Everyone in Adoption and Permanency (LEAP) course. This course is self-directed and open for registration from September 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
