We’re updating our registration system to make it easier for learners to sign up for courses and events.
Starting July 6, you’ll be asked to create a Belonging Network account the next time you register. This is a quick, one-time step that will allow your information to be saved so you can register more easily in the future.
Before you continue: When registering, please use your own individual email address. This helps keep your course registration connected to the right account and prevents duplicate records.
Thinking about adoption or providing a permanent home for a child or teen in BC? This course is for you! You’ll learn about the adoption process, important legal and financial considerations, and the unique needs of children and youth who are waiting for a loving, stable home.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Registration is free.
- No social worker approval is required.
- Complete it online and at your own pace.
- Approximately five hours of work.
This course is a prerequisite for those planning to register for the Learning for Everyone in Adoption and Permanency (LEAP) course.
Registration and completion deadlines: Registration opens on September 1, 2026, and closes on March 22, 2027. All participants must complete their assignments by March 31, 2027.
