A new 10-week program for adoptive parents of pre-teens and teens.

This fall, we’re launching Connect Attachment, a free online program for adoptive parents of youth ages 8–18. The program offers insights, tools, and strategies to help strengthen family connection.

Parents meet weekly in a small group with our trained facilitators to explore the parent-teen relationship, adolescent behaviour, and how attachment and trauma can influence behaviour. Sessions are interactive and collaborative, incorporating role-play exercises, guided discussions, and principle-based strategies to help parents respond to challenging behaviours and intense emotions in new ways.

Rather than teaching a fixed set of parenting rules, Connect Attachment focuses on core attachment principles that can be applied across many situations and relationships.

Our first cohort runs from September 17 to November 19, 2025, with weekly 90-minute sessions held online. Couples are encouraged to attend together, and each family will also take part in a one-hour Invitation to Connect meeting with a facilitator before the program begins.

This upcoming session is now full. If you’d like to be contacted when registration opens again, please join our waitlist.
