In this series of group discussions, we’ll explore various topics related to adoption and permanency with the company of guest speakers. As a community, attendees will shape the conversation by suggesting topics they'd like to learn about. This is a unique opportunity for waiting parents to connect, reflect, learn, and build a community of support.
This month, we’ll be joined by guest speaker Yvonne Kwok from Kinsight. Yvonne is the Manager of the Supported Child Development Program (SCD) for Kinsight and the Regional Advisor for SCD in the Vancouver Coastal Region. With a background in Early Childhood Education, she has worked in and managed a variety of childcare settings before joining Kinsight 15 years ago. This conversation will be guided by the questions and interests of the group. Please come prepared with any questions you’d like to ask Yvonne.
This group meets on the third Wednesday of every month from 5 to 6 p.m. (PST). The next discussion dates are April 15, May 20, and June 17.
