Parents will learn about the different types of trauma, how trauma manifests as children develop, and strategies for parenting using a trauma-informed approach.

Activities: Presented in an interactive multimedia format, activities include live presentations, group discussions, article readings, videos, and breakout rooms.
Facilitator: This workshop is taught by an instructor with over 20 years in the permanency field. She holds a Master of Social Work specializing in children, families, and permanency.
Dates: Tuesdays, October 20 and 27, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Fee: $70 per person.
Format: The workshop consists of two online sessions, each two hours long, followed by an optional 30-minute support session. Both sessions will be held on Zoom. Check your computer or device compatibility here.
