2024 This is Belonging photo contest
Show us what belonging looks like to you. Enter our photo contest for a chance to win prizes donated by Broadway Camera or a $100 Amazon gift card, and be featured in our print and digital materials and social media!
This contest is open to anyone with a connection to adoption, foster care, permanent guardianship, kinship care, custom adoption, or other forms of permanency; and to youth in and from government care.

We love photos of people, and we hope to see lots of them! This year, for the first time, we also welcome photos of anything that means “belonging” to you. There will be space in the entry form to explain what your photo(s) mean.
We’re looking for high-quality, high-resolution photos that you own the rights to (professional photos are okay as long as you own the rights to them and can give us permission to use them in Belonging Network materials).
Each entrant can submit up to 10 photos.
Deadline: July 26, 2024
Winning photos and other selected entries will appear on Belonging Network print and digital materials and social media channels. By entering the contest, you permit the Belonging Network to use your photos publicly in any of our materials. Please ensure you have permission to identify and show the faces of any minors included in your photos.
Winners from the past five years are welcome to enter. We want your stories to be shared and celebrated. However, winners from the past five years are not eligible to win.
Belonging Network employees and their family members are not eligible to enter.

Official rules
The 2024 This is Belonging photo contest ("contest") is sponsored by Broadway Camera and administered by the Belonging Network. The contest begins on June 10, 2024, and ends on July 26, 2024, at 11:59 pm PT ("contest period").
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator—void where prohibited by law.
The Belonging Network features photos of and from our community throughout our educational and promotional materials. Reflecting the real faces of permanency and youth from care helps us promote, publicize, and celebrate permanency and youth in our ongoing work.
By entering the This is Belonging photo contest, you permit the Belonging Network to use your photos in any of our print and digital materials and social media.
You confirm that you own the rights to the images you submit, have permission to allow them to be reproduced by the contest administrators, and have permission to identify and show the faces of any minors included in your photos. Administrators reserve the right to publish entrants' complete names in conjunction with their submitted photographs unless otherwise requested by the entrants.
The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their respective province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees or contractors of the Sponsor(s) or Administrators and immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with any such employees or contractors, are not eligible to enter.
All contest entrants who are not selected as first, second, or third-place winners will receive one entry (regardless of the number of photos submitted) for the bonus prize draw. One bonus prize draw winner will be chosen at random using the online random number generator at www.random.org. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received.
A committee of Belonging Network staff will select first, second, and third-place prize winners.
The winners will be contacted by email and will have seven days to respond. If no response is received within seven days, another winner will be chosen. Administrators are not responsible for prize fulfillment nor for any technical failures.
