Join us for a fall outing at Laity Pumpkin Patch in Maple Ridge!
This event is open to adoptive and permanency families with children and youth of all ages.
Enjoy a hay wagon ride, explore the mini corn maze, take on the obstacle course, visit the play areas, and meet the farm animals. Kids can also try hands-on activities such as milking a cow, collecting eggs, riding a horse, driving a tractor, and exploring woodland trails filled with surprises.
We’ll be there rain or shine, so bring your boots in case it gets muddy! Admission is $16 per person for everyone aged three and older.
Our Face to Face Connections events are organized by volunteers. You'll receive an email with the volunteer's contact information the day before the event.
When: Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Laity Pumpkin Patch – North, 21145 128th Avenue, Maple Ridge, BC
Why join the Face to Face Connections events? Connecting with other adoptive and permanency families can bring real benefits. Meeting others who share similar experiences can ease feelings of isolation, deepen your understanding of your child’s unique needs, and boost your confidence as a parent or caregiver. Through these connections, you can build a strong support network within a community that genuinely understands and supports your journey.
For children and youth, these gatherings foster a unique sense of belonging. Connecting with peers who truly “get it” helps them feel understood. Sharing stories with others who have similar experiences can boost self-esteem and build friendships, making it easier—and much less lonely—to navigate complex emotions.
