Join us for a day of fun and connection at Oliver Woods Park in Nanaimo!

This event welcomes all types of permanency families – adoptive, guardianship, Indigenous customary care, and relatives raising relatives. It aims to create a supportive environment where parents and caregivers can connect while children and youth make new friends.

The park has an inclusive playground for children of all ages and abilities, trails for short walks or energetic runs, and a peaceful duck pond. While children and youth play and socialize, parents and caregivers can connect and share experiences. Pack a picnic, bring your favourite snacks, and remember sunscreen for a great day out.

We look forward to seeing you for a day filled with fun activities and meaningful connections!
