Join us for a relaxed and family-friendly outing at Beacon Hill Children’s Farm in Victoria!
We’ll meet at the Belonging Network sign located under the large tree across from the farm entrance at 1 p.m. From there, we’ll head into the farm together to meet the animals and explore. Afterward, families are welcome to relax and connect in beautiful Beacon Hill Park—bring a blanket, picnic lunch, or outdoor games and make the most of the gardens, playground, and open green space.

Why join the Face to Face Connections events? Connecting with other adoptive and permanency families can bring real benefits. Meeting others who share similar experiences can ease feelings of isolation, deepen your understanding of your child’s unique needs, and boost your confidence as a parent or caregiver. Through these connections, you can build a strong support network within a community that genuinely understands and supports your journey.
For children and youth, these gatherings foster a unique sense of belonging. Connecting with peers who truly “get it” helps them feel understood. Sharing stories with others who have similar experiences can boost self-esteem and build friendships, making it easier—and much less lonely—to navigate complex emotions.
