Would you like to meet other adoptive and permanency families? Join us for a day of fun and connection at City Park in Downtown Kelowna!

This casual gathering is an excellent opportunity for adoptive, kinship, or guardianship families to come together, share experiences, and build community ties in a friendly outdoor setting. We'll set up chairs and blankets between the zipline playground and the beach, near the Wibit, splash park, skate park, and bike path – a fantastic spot for families to meet and mingle.

Kids can explore and enjoy the park's amenities while parents connect over shared stories and discuss ideas for future get-togethers and activities. To ensure a comfortable experience, bring your own chairs or blankets for seating, as well as food and drinks for your family. Don’t forget essentials like sunscreen, hats, and towels for a sunny day out. Public washrooms are available.

Our Face to Face Connections events are run by volunteers. You will receive an email with the volunteer’s contact information the day before.

We look forward to seeing you for a day filled with fun activities, engaging experiences, and meaningful connections!
