Is your pre-teen or teen struggling with depression, anxiety, or other emotional difficulties? Are they getting into trouble or having behavioural challenges? The Connect Attachment Program is a free, evidence-based parenting program that supports adoptive parents of youth ages 8–18.
Over 10 weekly sessions, parents will meet online in small groups with trained group facilitators. Each 90-minute session explores the parent-teen relationship and adolescent development through guided discussions, role-play exercises, and practical tools you can use at home. Together, you'll learn new ways of responding to challenging behaviour and intense emotions, while building a stronger, more secure relationship with your teen.
Couples are encouraged to attend together. After registering, our facilitator will reach out to schedule a one-hour Invitation to Connect meeting. This meeting provides a more detailed introduction to the program and helps ensure the group is a good fit.
