About the facilitator: Christina Kunz is a Family Support Specialist with the Belonging Network, she supports adoptive, permanency, and kinship families through connection, conversation, and learning. She facilitates support groups, links caregivers with resources, and shares practical tools to help families understand their children’s needs and navigate the complexities of parenting. With a strong interest in attachment and trauma‑informed approaches, Christina is committed to creating warm, supportive spaces where caregivers feel comfortable reflecting and growing together.
Newly trained in the Circle of Security Parenting program, Christina is excited to bring this framework to adoptive families, kinship caregivers, and permanency families, valuing the way it helps make sense of children’s emotional worlds while strengthening caregivers’ capacity to be a secure base and safe haven. As a mother of two, she understands that parenting is both deeply rewarding and sometimes challenging, and she approaches her work with curiosity, compassion, and a belief in the continuous learning we all share as parents.
