We had so much fun last year that we are going to join in the Ladysmith Light-Up Parade again this year. We will have a trailer for the younger children to ride on, with some adults. We are encouraging families to come to Ladysmith early to enjoy the festivities before meeting us at our position in the parade (to be determined later).
If you are going to have your children on the trailer, then please meet at the position in the parade at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a blanket for your child to help keep them warm while sitting on the trailer. There will be tarped bales of hay for the children to sit on.
Those who will be walking alongside the trailer will also meet us at our position in the parade at 6:00 p.m. Please bring a lit up decorated umbrella. (We suggest you use a battery powered LED light set).
There is a Community Spaghetti dinner in Ladysmith beginning at 3:00 pm as we are not having a Potluck dinner this year. For more information re: location and cost, and other parade festivities, go to:
