Our volunteers help us make a difference for families, children, and youth across BC! They tell us that they gain valuable experience, meet interesting people, and enjoy the satisfaction of giving back to their communities. We would love to talk to you about joining our volunteer team!

Current volunteer opportunities include:

  • Support group facilitators (experienced adoptive, foster, or permanency parents). Contact Correen Coons for more information.
  • People who are willing to share their stories or experiences with permanency or government care, from any perspective, with the public (Belonging Network website and materials, news, TV, radio, etc.). Stories can be shared without identifying information to protect privacy. Contact the Communications team for more information.

Please note that our volunteers do not work directly with children or youth. If you are interested in gaining experience working with children or youth, we suggest contacting the Boys and Girls Club or Big Brothers and Big Sisters for opportunities.

If you are interested in adopting, contact us at adoptbckids@belongingnetwork.com or 1-877-236-7807.

If you are interested in being a foster parent, please contact the BC Foster Parents Association at 1-800-663-9999 or Indigenous Caregivers of BC at 250-857-4969 or Caregiver@ipsociety.ca.
