This event is for adoptive, kinship, guardianship, and other permanency families across the Lower Mainland to gather, share experiences, and create memories with their children and/or youth.

Join us for a family-friendly day at Blackie Spit Park in White Rock!

This event offers adoptive and permanency families of all types, with children of all ages, a chance to come together for a day of fun and connection at the beach.

The event is free and open to all. Families are encouraged to bring their favourite beach toys and activities to share, making it a lively and engaging experience for everyone. Don’t forget to bring fold-up chairs, blankets, swimsuits, towels, water, snacks, sunscreen, hats, and beach toys.

Please arrive early to secure a space, bring additional beach toys and activities, and assist with cleanup afterward. In case of rain, the event will be postponed.

Our Face to Face Connections events are run by volunteers. You will receive an email with the volunteer’s contact information the day before the event.

We look forward to seeing you for a day filled with fun, engaging activities, and meaningful connections!
