Join us for a fun-filled morning at Energyplex Entertainment Center in Kelowna!

The Energyplex indoor entertainment center has something for everyone! With a 4-level jungle gym, ball-shooting arena, arcade games, laser tag, rock climbing, and a high ropes course, the fun never ends. Parents can relax and connect in “The Lazy Lounge” while the kids explore and play.

Our Face to Face Connections events are organized by volunteers. You will receive an email with the volunteer’s contact information the day before the event.

When: February 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: Energyplex Entertainment Centre Kelowna
Cost: General admission for the Kids Zone (ages 1–14) is $12.50. This includes access to the 4-level jungle gym and ball-shooting arena. Why join the Face to Face Connections events? Connecting with other adoptive and permanency families can bring real benefits. Meeting others who share similar experiences can ease feelings of isolation, deepen your understanding of your child’s unique needs, and boost your confidence as a parent or caregiver. Through these connections, you can build a strong support network within a community that genuinely understands and supports your journey.

For children and youth, these gatherings foster a unique sense of belonging. Connecting with peers who truly “get it” helps them feel understood. Sharing stories with others who have similar experiences can boost self-esteem and build friendships, making it easier—and much less lonely—to navigate complex emotions.
