Are you caring for a child or youth who is questioning their sexuality or gender? Or would you like to learn how to better support them? Join us for a lunchtime session with Robyn Lalani, a registered social worker with over 10 years of experience in adoption services.
Robyn will cover the basics of gender diversity and sexuality, discuss common mental health concerns, and offer practical tips to help you support children and youth as they explore their identity.
As a registered social worker, Robyn contracts with private adoption agencies, providing support to birth families, prospective adoptive parents, and adoptive parents. She also completes home studies and facilitates adoption education programs.
