There are teenagers and tweens in BC foster care who are waiting for adoptive families. Join us to learn about adopting one (or more!) of them.

Considering adoption or curious about becoming a parent to a child or teen in need? Join our online info session to explore adoption from BC foster care.

In BC, around half of the children waiting for permanency are between the ages of 12 and 18. This session will focus on the unique joys and challenges of adopting teens and tweens. We’ll discuss their developmental needs, emotional well-being, and the support they need to thrive.

Whether you’re just beginning your adoption journey or already on the path, this session will provide valuable insights into the process and resources specifically tailored to adopting older children.

This event is open to individuals and couples. If you're a couple, please attend together. Singles are welcome to bring a friend or support person.

When: November 26, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m.
