If you want to connect with a group that understands your journey, join our Waiting Parents online discussion group!

In this series of group discussions, we’ll explore various topics related to adoption and permanency with the company of guest speakers. As a community, attendees will shape the discussions by suggesting topics they want to learn about. This is a unique opportunity for waiting parents to connect, reflect, learn, and create a community of support.

This month, we are pleased to host a Q&A session with Rebecca, a wonderful adoptee, who will share her experiences growing up in a closed adoption and answer your questions. Don't miss this opportunity to connect and learn during our final discussion group of 2024. Register below to join us!

A little bit about Rebecca: Rebecca approaches life with creativity and compassion, focusing on family, friendship, music, and travel. A proud adoptee, she holds degrees in music (opera performance) and education. Currently, she works as a Program Specialist for the Canadian Cancer Society. In her free time, you’ll find her singing with the Phoenix Chamber Choir, walking her mini schnauzer, Lucy, or exploring the world with her husband/best travel buddy, Andy. Rebecca is honoured to share her story, and thanks the lovely folks at Belonging Network for giving her the space to do so!
